Pip is a home maintenance reminder app made by Sajdak Ventures LLC. This page explains what information Pip collects, how it's used, and how you can delete it. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
The appliances and tasks you add, their schedules, any photos you take or choose for an appliance, and your app settings are all stored locally on your device. We never upload this information to our servers, and we never see it.
When you first open Pip, the app quietly creates an anonymous account with our backend provider, Supabase. This account has no name, email address, or other personal details attached to it — it exists only so we can apply fair-use limits to the AI schedule-building feature and prevent abuse. We also keep a basic log of schedule requests (what was typed, and whether it was found in our shared library or newly generated) tied to that anonymous account, for the same reason.
When you ask Pip to build a care schedule for an appliance that isn't already in our shared library, the brand and model name you typed is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate that schedule. No other information about you — not your name, your other appliances, or anything else on your phone — is included in that request. Anthropic processes this request under its own privacy terms.
You can remove any appliance or task at any time directly in the app. If you'd like to delete everything — your on-device data and your anonymous account and usage logs on our servers — open Settings → Delete my account and data. This is permanent and can't be undone.
Pip is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll make sure it's easy to notice the next time you open the app.
